Transfer Application From iPhone to iTunes

I was having a lot of trouble getting my iPhone applications to sync with iTunes. I tried doing backups and full syncs to no avail. Finally, in a moment of desperation, I righted clicked on my iPhone and chose the option “Transfer Purchases” and to my suprise and glee I successfully moved my applications onto to my computer.

To transfer applictions to iTunes from your iPhone:

1. Right click on your iPhone in the left hand explorer bar
2. Select “Transfer Purchases”

3. You should see a progress bar in iTunes and your phone should read “Sync in Progress”

4. If everything went as planned, all of your applications that were purchased on your iPhone should now appear in iTunes

Mengecilkan ukuran file xcel

Pernahkah anda heran dengan ukuran file xcel anda yang sangat besar sementara anda merasa data anda di worksheet tidak banyak? Kemungkinan besar anda menggunakan row dan/atau column yang banyak tanpa anda sadari.

Untuk mengurangi jumlah row dan/atau column ini, anda bisa melakukan langkah-langkah dibawah ini.

- Arahkan pointer pada row terakhir yang anda gunakan, klik pada nomor row di sebelah kiri untuk memilih keseluruhan row, pada contoh dibawah klik pada nomor 7

- Klik CTRL+SHIFT dan tekan anak panah bawah untuk memilih semua row dibawah row no 7
- Untuk office xcel 2003 dan dibawahnya, silahkan masuk ke Edit>Clear>All.
- Untuk office xcel 2007, silahkan ke Home>Cells>Delete>Delete Sheet Rows.
- Simpan perubahan ini, dan silahkan liat ukuran xcel anda. Pada kasus saya, file xcel berukuran 16 mb berubah menjadi 1.5 mb

Memunculkan MID pada ford Escape

Escape anda tipe 2.0, 2.3, 3.0V6 yang belum ada tampilan MIDnya? Jangan khawatir, anda masih bisa memunculkan info MID ini pada layar digital display di dashboard anda. Cara ini lazim dilakukan oleh mekanik bengkel untuk membaca kondisi mobil. Silahkan ikuti langkah-langkah di bawah:
1. Masukan kunci kontak.
2. Tekan dan tahan tombol trip-meter sambil menghidupkan mesin.
3. Dengan posisi tombol tetap tertekan, tahan sampai sekitar 10 detik sampai muncul tulisan “test” pada digital display.
4. Bersamaan dengan itu, jarum analog akan melakukan kalibrasi dan segera lepas tombol trip meter.
5. Informasi bisa didapat sesuai dengan nomer urutan.

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

This error arises when the System registry hive is either deleted or corrupt. System registry hive contains configuration information necessary for the system to boot.

Option 1: The first thing to try is to run chkdsk command from the Recovery Console and then reboot the system.

Note: If you don’t have Windows installation disk to access Recovery Console, then this ISO image can be used to create a Windows Recovery Console CD. Download the ISO image and burn it to a CD/DVD (ImgBurn can be used to burn ISO images to CD/DVD). Boot the PC using this disk to access Recovery Console.

If chkdsk does not solve the problem, then the System file should be restored from backups. There are two places to look for the backups, one is the System Restore folder and the other is \Windows\Repair folder.

Option 2 (Using backups from System Restore feature): From the Recovery Console, navigate to the folder \System Volume Information\ folder of the root drive, using the command:
cd c:\System Volume Information

Here, locate and navigate to the folder whose name begins with _restore using the command
cd _resto~1

This folder contains many subfolders which have names of the form RPxxx, where xxx is a number indicating the restore point. Locate an RPxxx folder which has the highest number as its suffix (highest xxx) using the command dir command. Then navigate into that folder using the command:
cd RPxxx (don’t forget to replace xxx with the corresponding number!)

Now, there will be a folder named snapshot. Navigate to this folder using the command:
cd snapshot

There should be a file named _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SYSTEM, copy this file to the \Windows\System32\Config folder with the name System using the command:
copy _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SYSTEM C:\Windows\System32\Config\System

Reboot the system and check whether Windows loads properly.

Note: Option 2 works only if System Restore feature of Windows XP is enabled. If System Restore was disabled or if option 2 did not work for some reason, then try the next option.

Option 3: While installing Windows, the setup backs up the System registry hive in Repair folder. If the System Restore feature is turned off, then this backup can be used to restore the System hive. From the Recovery Console, navigate to folder \Windows\Repair, using the command:
cd c:\Windows\Repair

Copy the System file to its original location using the command:
copy system c:\Windows\System32\Config\System

Reboot the system and check whether Windows loads properly.

Note: There is a disadvantage in this method! Since this backup is created during the installation of Windows; system configuration and driver installations (made after fresh installation) will be lost after restoring this backup Registry hive file.

setting AP linksys wap54g dan wrt300n

Settingan ini buat anda yang tidak punya cd setting buat wireless access point (AP) wap54g dan wrt300n dan lupa password untuk masuk ke AP. Melalui cara ini, anda akan kembali ke settingan awal AP, karena AP akan direset.

Berikut langkah-langkahnya:
1. Nyalakan AP (wap54g/wrt300n)
2. Tekan tombol reset di AP sekitar 1 menit
3. Sambungkan kabel LAN dari PC/laptop ke AP
4. Setting IP PC/laptop anda, pilih IP static, masukkan IP 192.168.1.2 dan subnet mask 255.255.255.0
5. Buka browser anda, set proxy untuk network connection “no proxy”
6. Ketik alamat 192.168.1.245 untuk wap54g, dan 192.168.1.1 untuk wrt300n
7. Kosongkan username dan ketik admin pada kolom password
8. Andapun masuk ke halaman setting wireless AP anda
9. Silahkan merubah setting wireless AP yang ada dan jangan lupa melakukan backup untuk settingan anda

how to: enable security center service in windows xp

This is a standard fix for users that have somehow stopped the Security Center Service:

Type “services.msc” (no quotes) from your Run > Dialog Box. This will enable your Services Editor.

Select the “Standard” tab > scroll to the Security Center entry.

Highlight the entry > double-click on the entry > on the “General” tab please ensure that:
- “Start-up Type” is “Automatic” > if not, select “automatic” from the pull-down menu
- “Service Status”" should be “Started” > if the Service Status is Stopped hit the Start Button and apply your way out.

3 buah kuning telur
1 sdm muncung gula
1 sdm kopi instan, encerkan dengan 1 sdm air
100 ml krim kocok (whipping cream) non-dairy
2 sdm kacang almond, cacah
8 keping biskuit ladyfinger
1/2 jumlah resep kopi kental

Wadah: 4 cangkir kopi ukuran standar

Cara membuat:
1. Kocok kuning telur dengan gula dan kopi instan encer secara ditim (seperti resep tiramisu klasik), dinginkan.
2. Kocok whipping cream hingga kaku, campur dengan kocokan kuning telur/kopi, aduk rata. Tambahkan kacang almond dan aduk lagi.
3. Dalam cangkir kopi, patahkan 1 keping biskuit jadi 2, celup dalam kopi lalu susun di dasar cangkir, tuang dengan sendok sedikit adonan, masukkan biskuit lagi, diselesaikan dengan adonan lagi.
4. Dinginkan dalam kulkas selama 4-6 jam lalu hias menurut selera sebelum dihidangkan.

Tips:
• Kacang almond boleh diganti dengan kacang jenis lain sesuai selera, misalnya kacang kenari.
• Untuk resep ini, hiasan yang digunakan adalah cokelat pekat yang dilelehkan lalu dimasukkan ke dalam kantong spuit kecil yang ujungnya digunting kecil saja, lalu di atas kertas minyak dibuat motif-motif dari kristal salju/es./*

Cara membuat
Nam prik pao: sangrai bawang putih, bawang merah, dan cabai merah hingga agak gosong, lalu kupas.

Haluskan bahan tadi bersama dengan terasi, garam, gula, lalu tumis hingga harum.

Tambahkan air asam, aduk rata, masak hingga mendidih dan kental, sisihkan.

Panaskan kaldu ayam, masak hingga mendidih, lalu masukkan lengkuas, daun jeruk purut, sere, kecap ikan, air jeruk nipis, jamur merang, cabai rawit, dan nam prik pao, aduk rata, masak selama 15 menit.

Masukkan udang dan daun ketumbar, masak hingga matang, angkat.

Reformat troubled disk

Dont have a clue from where I got this tips

I have a USB Sandisk cruzer mini 1GB. Disk management says it’s unreadable and when trying to format gives “ERROR IN IOCTL call.”

I did what Whodunit said and now it works
1. download and run killdisk: http://download2.lsoft.net/killdiskfloppysetup.exe
2. boot from floppy and choose option 3 to load usb, then will ask you to insert your usb drive, then to type killdisk
3. i got a small error and chose ignore, write zeros to usb drive took me 5min 45sec
4. shut down. remove usb drive. turn on computer, and insert usb drive when windows loaded
5. ran hp usb format utility ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp27001-27500/SP27213.exe chose fat for file system and that’s it.
Notes:
i don’t think the hp utility is crucial…after i used killdisk i noticed my system didn’t take a long time to recognize my jump drive (which it was doing when it wasn’t working) but it’s a nice utility. if the file gets moved the hp site is http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/hpcpqdt/us/download/20306.html
